SkillsUSA held its 50th National Leadership and Skills Conference in 2014, from June 23-27 in Kansas City, Mo. It also marked the last NLSC in Kansas City; the conference moves to Louisville, Ky., in 2015.

The 2014 NLSC was the biggest in SkillsUSA history, with nearly 16,000 total attendees. The SkillsUSA Championships event was also the largest ever, with more than 6,000 state champions competing for national bronze, silver and gold in 99 technical and leadership contests.

The week was jam-packed from start to finish, and this video gives a taste of each day's highlights. There was Leverage and Activate leadership training, the largest technical education trade show in the nation in SkillsUSA TECHSPO, student delegate sessions to elect new national officers, Champions Night, the annual community service project and much more.

It was definitely a week that lived up to the hype of a 50th celebration. If you attended, can you find yourself in any of these shots?
