the sound was messed up...technical difficulties. this is my take on a dominican rollerset blowout that i used to get at their salons. i get the benefits of the blowdried look without the harshness and damaging effects of stretching and pulling the hair. consequently because of the blow drying and other factors, i had to cut about 4 inches off my hair. i find rollersetting to be a healthy style alternative for me.
i rollerset my hair and made sure each section i rolled was completely saturated with water (you can use setting lotion, leave in). i dried overnight (usually i sit under a hooded dryer for 45-60 min...flat ironed (sometimes i only do the roots)....and cross wrapped, sat under the dryer again with a silk scarf and voila...
i'm texlaxed so my hair isn't bone straight, but i like the versatility and the texture.
thanks for watching and let me know if you have any questions!!! peace & blessings
