I was looking for a touchscreen media center that I could use while I was kickin it. Usually I'll check YouTube first to see what the deal is, but this model number didn't get a single result. So I thought I'd make one.

Firstly, this thing can't use a wall mount. I custom rigged one myself (which gives me 3 viewing angles too). It took me about 20 minutes but it's not a job for everyone. Same settings as the other 2 vids, Power Management Balanced, default GPU settings. Hope it's not too shaky cam for you.

Overall, I really like this machine. Weird benchmark results though, the older games struggle to keep a solid 60 but the newer games get "OK" framerates. Source got about 30fps for the video stress test while it got 60 in assault. For the linux guys, the touchscreen and WiFi (RaLink) don't work out of the box with Ubuntu, and I haven't had time to mess around with them yet. Seems like WiFi bit the dust when 10.04 came out, none of my rigs can use it anymore other than the G73. The screen isn't glass like the iPhone but it's still smooth and works the same way. Trying to screw with the mutlitouch, crossing the streams only went wrong once so that's pretty cool. Seems to be nice and quiet, doesn't get too hot either. I can't think of anything else to write about but if I do I'll come on here and update it.
