Riding bareback and bridleless riders view

Riding my mare Sophie bareback and bridleless for the first time. Due to a foot injury of mine I havent been able to ride with a saddle for three weeks and I decided I was just going to hop on her out in the field today. She did good with just leg aids, at first she was only responding to my right leg to turn (hence the circling at the gate to start with) but she eventually started listening to the left leg as well :) It was a short ride, I didnt want to push her too much incase she misunderstood and started trotting or cantering too much. She trotted at the end but it was short lived so it wasnt too bad.
