Nickel Plate Berkshire (2-8-4) leading an excursion train from Lewistown PA to the Gallitzin Tunnels and return. At the Horseshoe Curve, a stack train was moving up the outer rail, when the excursion appeared and overtook it on the middle track, assisted by modern diesel-electrics wearing the Pennsylvania RR and ConRail Heritage paint schemes. There were 17 cars in the consist. Event was coordinated by the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society, who own the 765.
