EVGA X99 FTW UEFI BIOS Overview + Tutorial

The EVGA X99 FTW motherboard is built to accept Haswell-E processors that utilize the LGA 2011-3 socket. The X99 FTW uses the E-ATX form factor to pack as many features as possible on the PCB. The Haswell-E platform has support for Quad Channel DDR4, EVGA has provided support on the X99 FTW for up to 128GB of memory at speeds of DD4-2667MHz.

EVGA has taken a minimalistic approach to the aesthetics of the board, with a red and black theme and simple heatsinks. Expansion slots on the X99 FTW are setup with five PCIe x16 slots and one PCIe x4, with support for up to 4-way SLI and CrossFireX configurations. There are also plenty of other connectivity options including ten SATA III ports, six USB 3.0 ports, 8 USB 2.0 Ports, Dual Gigabit LAN controllers, 8 channel audio, and voltage check points.
