Last year, South Africa hosted the FIFA World Cup. This year, it's hosting the UN climate negotiations (COP17) in Durban.

Shakira's 'Waka Waka: This Time for Africa' was the official song for the World Cup, so this time we thought we'd take matters into our own hands.

It was filmed at the 7th Conference of Youth in Durban, a gathering of over 400 young people from the international youth climate movement who got together to plan for COP17 and share ideas and strategies for domestic action at home.

If you want to get involved, write to your politicians and demand from them the maximum possible ambition from your countries' negotiators at COP17.
