The documentary „Records from the cemetery, the Jewish Bridge and the long-gone neighbors“ problematizes the life and existence of Jewish community which had lived in Novi Pazar until the German occupation and persecution of the Jews in 1942. The symbolic title of the film refers to the Jewish cemetery as a symbol of eternal peace, the Jewish Bridge as the symbol of connections and the neighbors as the symbol of different ethnicities living together. Today, only the Jewish cemetery persists as the last evidence of material heritage of the Jewish community in Novi Pazar, which has existed for around 300 years.
The film was supported by the Ministry of culture and information of the Republic of Serbia.
