Kinopolis 2012 is back with another cinematic feast of the contemporary and classic Polish movies.The festival takes place in the Irish Film Institute (IFI) on November 8-11. It will be complimented by the photo-gallery in Filmbase.

This year's festival will present such movies like ''Rose'' (''Róża'', 2011'), ''Black Thursday'' (''Czarny Czwartek'', 2011), ''The Wedding'' (''Ślub'', 2004) and ''The Dark House'' (''Dom zły'', 2009). The animation block will include ''Lumberjack'' (''Drwal'', 2011), ''The Lost Town of Switez (''Świteź'', 2010 ) and ''Paths of Hate'' (''Ścieżki nienawiści'', 2010).

The festival guests are actor Arkadiusz Jakubik (''The Dark House'', ''The Wedding''), actor Marian Dziedziel (''Battle of Warsaw'', ''The Mole'') and Wojciech Pszoniak (''Danton'', ''The Promised Land'' and ''The Mole'').

The festival was opened by animator and lecturer Steve Woods of IADT in Dun Laoghaire and filmmaker Dominick O'Cruadhliocht in the Mercantile Bar, Dublin 2.
