1. Go to this website to test and see if your cam and mic are working:

2. If you do not see a pop-up box as seen in the video you either have to do the following:

1. Right-click the thing and select Settings... and click on the tab with a camcorder make sure it is something like WebCam sfgsg-fdsfgd which the end will have some random letters that is selected, then go to the tab with a picture of a mic and do the same except make sure the little volume bar is in the middle and now click the little screen with an eye in the middle of it tab and you should see privacy settings either going allow or deny select allow or if you do not see that select allow all sites to access webcam and mic and then click the orb that says Always ask websites... and click save or exit.

2. If #1 did not work then something you did was wrong or something is not working correctly, if so you should do the following: make sure that your webcam is plugged in ( if it is not a built in one ) and you mic (if its not built in), then make sure that it is working and is up to date you can do this by clicking the start button then clicking Devices and Printers right clicking the computer and select Properties or do the same to the webcam if in the Devices window
and also it should say something like This device is working correctly on the opening of the window on the bottom of the window. if in the computer properties click the Hardware tab and scroll down to WebCam srg-dth and click the Properties in the window button and it should pop up a window then click Change Settings and it should re-open the same window but with administrator privileges switch to the Driver tab and click Update Driver if it says it is up-to date then you are fine if not you may may have to up-date it.

3. If your cam or mic does not work you may have to uninstall the camera software that either comes with your computer i.e ( youcam ) etc. or you may just have a not working webcam or its something else hope this helped. This will be updated with more as soon as more solutions can be found.
