As of this interview only 152 Kickstarter projects have raised over $1M in funding, and Ravean is one of them ($1.3M raised on Kickstarter, another $1.5M on Indiegogo). In this interview, co-founder Bryce Fisher shares his secrets about how he did it. He gives details like how much he spent on Facebook ads, how he got those ads to perform better, what third parties he worked with, what he did pre-campaign, during the campaign, and post-campaign (like redirecting his Kickstarter to Indiegogo where he raised another $200,000 in his first month on the platform with virtually no effort).

Last year I included Ravean in a Forbes article I wrote (see http://www.forbes.com/sites/joshsteim...) about pivoting your marketing rather than your product. Later I wrote an article for Entrepreneur magazine on how startups are using crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo as marketing platforms (see http://www.entrepreneur.com/author/jo...).

My firm (http://www.mwi.com) has now entered into this arena, offering digital marketing services to companies that need help managing it all. But Bryce spills all the secrets here. The only reason you would hire us is if you need help on the specifics of the implementation.
