It's not every day that you get a chance to be with 26 other artists in tight quarters on a tall ship, far north of the Arctic Circle.

Watercolor artist Lisa Goren has been painting both the South and North Polar regions for the past 16 years, and has been featured in The New York Times. In this 45-minute presentation Lisa discusses how she has created a career driven by her inspirations in Antarctica, Iceland, Alaska, and the High Arctic. You’ll hear about life on the boat, her artistic journey. and how she managed (or didn't manage) being a mother and taking a month for her art instead of her family. Art, travel, Polar bears, and more.
