The Historical Association of Annapolis Royal presented Them Eastport Oyster Boys from Annapolis, Maryland in a special performance to help raise money to paint the historic Lighthouse in scenic Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. It was built in 1889 and shines brightly only about 90 miles from the half-way mark between the Equator and the North Pole. The Lighthouse is owned by The Historical Association of Annapolis Royal and serves as the headquarters for their National Historic District and Acadian Heritage Tours.
