GLAUCUS ATLANTICUS- real life pokemon

I came across these crazy beautiful looking creatures one day down on the east coast of Australia and luckily had my camera with me. there were heaps of them washed up along the surf. I attempted at taking some of them back out into the water but unfortunately I think alot of them died.

ADD: As many people have pointed out, these dudes are extremely venomous. In Australia you learn pretty early on in life not to touch any animal that you haven't seen before because there is a good chance it could try to kill you :) this is why I picked them up by scooping the sand around them rather than touching them directly.

The song is "bluish" by Animal Collective. They are named Glaucus Atlanticus but also known as a Blue Angel or Blue Dragon.
