Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. Honor Flight of West Central Flrorida provides all-expense-paid flights to World War II veterans in the Tampa Bay area to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C. On June 28, 2011 HFWCF arranged for 70 vets, accompanied by 70 guardians, to travel on a chartered Allegiant Airlines flight from St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport to view these memorials in person.
