Childhood obesity is a national problem affecting more than 30% of adults in the United States. Nearly 10% of infants and toddlers are obese and close to 1/3 of children and teens are overweight. As more children are developing adult disease, changes in physical activity and eating behaviors are necessary. This video provides a summary of nationally recognized guidelines for parents and children that encourage healthy eating and activity. Developing healthy lifestyes during childhood will help to address the rising number of obesity in our country
