When it comes to fun, families have known for years that there’s no place like Wisconsin Dells. After all, there’s a reason they call it “The Waterpark Capital of the World!®”. But now more than ever, Wisconsin Dells is getting a reputation as a Sports Planner’s dream. With sports facilities designed for all major sports, over 8,000 hotel rooms, and the largest concentration of waterparks in the world, The Dells is ready to host more than just great tournaments and events – we’re ready to host an unforgettable experience.

One of the most important things to consider when planning a sports tournament is the facilities themselves, and in Wisconsin Dells, it’s all about versatility. Our sports facilities are designed to be customized to many different types of sports and events.

JustAgame Fieldhouse is a 50,000 square foot structure used for basketball, volleyball, wrestling and gymnastics and features 4 player locker rooms along with a locker room for officials. The facility can accommodate up to 10 volleyball courts or 6 high school basketball courts. One event JustAgame has become known for due to their ability to host games on a regulation college court is the Dells Annual Exposure Classic. Here prospective college basketball players get the chance to play in front of college scouts and coaches.

Along with JustAgame, the Dells offers the 110,000 square foot Wisconsin Dells Center at Chula Vista Resort. The Wisconsin Dells Center is one of the largest indoor youth sports facilities in the Midwest and accommodates basketball, volleyball, softball, soccer, and football. In fact, it even includes a full football field’s worth of NFL artificial turf. In addition to the expansive recreational space, the center also boasts 13,000 square feet of pre-function space for registrations, ticketing or exhibits. Because of this the facility has been honored with hosting such events as the AAU Gymnastics National Championship, Nike Basketball Camp, the Jimmy V Summer Basketball Classic, Kohl Kicking Camp, and Northern Plains Nationals Wrestling to name a few.

If Hockey’s your thing, The Poppy Waterman Ice Arena has an official NHL-sized rink, bleacher seating for 500, and ample parking for hockey tournaments as well as figure skating competitions.

The Dells has you covered when it comes to sports outdoors as well. With 7 area parks featuring either basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, tennis courts or a skateboard park, you’ll find no shortage of space to turn up the competitive heat. In fact, over the past several summers, Wisconsin Dells has played host to Game Day USA baseball and fast pitch softball tournaments drawing over 200 teams annually from all over the Midwest.

One of the highlights of our outdoor facility offerings is Rotary Park, featuring two youth baseball fields with grass infields that are set up according to Little League International Field standards. In addition, Veterans Park has fields equipped to accommodate diverse pitch and base line standards ranging from 60 to 90 feet.

Add in six challenging golf courses, two of which are championship level, and you’ve got the kind of options that puts smiles on the faces of sports planners and athletes alike.

So whether it’s major tournaments like the 50-team Ultimate Hockey Tournament, large outdoor events like the Wisconsin Dells Marathon or the Rev3 triathlon series, or any of the countless middle school and high school tournaments and events the Dells has played host to, you can bet we’ve just about seen it all. And with restaurants, lodging, and activities designed to accommodate large groups, we do our part to make sure each event goes off without a hitch.

In Wisconsin Dells the action doesn’t stop when the game stops. So if you’re looking for big numbers and big fun at your next tournament or event, look no further than “The Waterpark Capital of the World!®”
