This tutorial addresses user access to the instrument settings on the Bio-Rad PROTEAN i12 IEF system: time and date, log interval, default run names, and rehydration settings. Profiles including length, pH gradient, and part number are stored for all available Bio-Rad immobilized pH gradient (IPG) strips. Touchscreen calibration and firmware updates can also be implemented.
