A demonstration of the single point dog clutch and the retracting tool holder as used for single point threading on the minilathe.
The dog clutch automatically picks up imperial or metric threads (no threading dial needed) and the auto-stop takes the worry out of stopping at the right point. A runout groove is automatically added unless one retracts the tool holder exactly when the clutch triggers - which would put the challenge back into threading...
