All Types of Bikes for All Types of People
This week, just in time for our annual Back to School Sale, The Hub Bike Co-Op is proud to announce the launch of our first-ever commercial, starring legendary comedian Fancy Ray McClooney, and directed by award-winning local production company See360.

The Hub hasn't ever had much of a need for commercials. We've been a celebrated part of our community for years. Growing from a small but dedicated crew at our flagship location in the Longfellow neighborhood, we've added two stores to better serve the Cedar-Riverside and University of Minnesota area, all while staying true to our principles.

Those principles are perfectly summed up by McCloney, The Prettiest Man in Comedy himself, in our new video. We believe that bikes are for the people. It's why we celebrate all types of cyclists, from neighborhood kids on their first bike, to retirees eking out another 10 years on their beloved Schwinn.

As a worker-owned cooperative with a diverse staff of owners and part-time employees, all of our business decisions are made democratically, allowing even the newest team member equal say. We feel that this fosters a sense of responsibility and commitment unique to The Hub. It's why our crew are the best in town, but your don't have to take our word for it. City Pages Minneapolis just honored us as The Twin Cities Best Bike Shop in 2014, we're one of America's Best according to the National Bicycle Dealer's Association and the Minnesota Women's Press has voted us the best shop for women, several years running.

Like Fancy Ray says, The Hub Bike Co-Op is for the people. We give 5% of our annual profits and countless volunteer hours back to the community. We host free workshops, as well as Women and GLBTQ friendly rides and clinics. We do it all because of the principles we were founded on, and because we know that our shops owe their success to the communities that have embraced us.

So enjoy the commercial, we tried to make it fun, since at the end of the day, we've got the most fun jobs in the world.
