A totally unexpected almost disaster this morning, with no harm done to William. At this very beautiful early autumn morning, I decided to testdrive my very light and very well constructed two wheeled exercise cart, which I had specially prepared for him. Harnessing, hitching etc. went all without problems, William being in a normal state of mind and accepting the routine as usual. The rest you can see for yourself. Possebly the light falling on a discarded matress made him shy, as I know from the past that unexpected reflections from a building or whatever sometimes proved to be a problem in the past. A second attempt trying to lead him away, was also unsuccesful and ended with a broken saddle strap. So I had to stop there. You really need a good and experienced helping hand in a situation like this. Although we both escaped without damage, the situation wasn't ideal.
