Stream2Sea explains what's different in a mineral sunscreen over a chemical sunscreen as well as how to apply it correctly.

Why is it different? Stream2Sea does not contain the excess oils associated with most mineral sunscreens with a zinc dispersion. So it's not greasy, oily or leaves your skin feeling hot or heated. Unlike potentially harmful chemical-based sunscreens, which absorb into your skin to disperse UV rays, mineral sunscreen sits on top of the skin and reflects the UV rays.

Correctly applied, mineral sunscreen should not be white in appearance, but leave a silvery sheen visible in the light. When the sheen fades, if you're still outdoors or in the water, it's time to reapply.

Stream2Sea is water resistant for up to 80 minutes and will not sting your eyes. It is safe for children and contains a powerful natural antigen formula.

Stream2Sea has also been tested to be safe for you and the environment. We have even undergone rigid testing to ensure safety for coral reefs, even down to coral larvae in an effort to protect our planet. Our container are also made of sugar cane resin to help reduce our carbon footprint.
