Is it weird that shivers went down my spine when he played the castle theme?

I liked playing as a mole, Yoshi's Island is better (no competition), Yoshi's Island had many varied levels as well, Baby Mario crying never felt annoying (If you're good at the game it's not an issue. You're the real crybaby), and lava/spike instant death makes things oh…more challenging. How often have you died from the counter reaching 0? Exactly. Besides with that Flutter Jump and some quick reflexes, lava and spikes are a thing of the past (pits are still a bitch. Oh well they add more challenge.) Your review was pretty shitty SnesMan.

Great review but I disagree with you about the babys cry, shure it's annoying but it brings in a notion of stress particular to that game

I just got a SNES for Christmas, and I just ordered this game today.
The whole point about Mario's crying being annoying, is to make the player do everything possible to avoid getting hit. Otherwise losing Mario wouldn't be a big deal, it you could just get hit for the sake of it, in order to make certain sections of the game that much easier. Oh, and Yoshi can only make 6 eggs, not 7......
Funny thing is they call this super mario world 2 but Japan already had Super mario world 2 so this is actually like 3.
more like anakin skywalker review..snes man is way cool
