Here's Marilyn with her 1960 recording of "Tell Tommy I Miss Him," this is the UK version of her track. Incidentally, the disk had to be sent back to the USA for her to recut the song for release in the UK. In the original USA RCA Victor version, Marilyn sings "he is up in heaven somewhere." For British consumption, the line was changed to "he meant everything to me," a change suggested by the British publisher Lawrence Wright. The BBC objected to the "Heaven" reference!
