introducing: mister golightly

"Mister GoLightly- Advetures of a Passionista" is a 9 episode webseries featuring fashion designer and philanthropist Malcolm Harris as well as his merry band of eccentric characters affectionately known as "The GoLightly's." While channeling cultural scribe, Truman Capote, as well as his mystical muse, Miss Holly GoLightly, Malcolm currently documents his glamorous yet purposeful escapades through the city that never sleeps via his weekly column on the Huffington Post. Each "MGL" bi-weekly webisode will originally be distributed exclusively through his wildly popular Huffington Post lifestyle column as well as their parent company and media partner AOL (a collective quantcast confirmed 130 million unique monthly visitors). Thereafter, "MGL" will be marketed and distributed via traditional social networking platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, Vimeo, Twitter, etc. Talk about pressure and exposure... However, with each episode our Mister GoLightly will rise to the occasion as he gives his viewing audience a five to seven minute voyeuristic peak into what's hot, who's next and why its all relevant.

Malcolm Harris is a New York based fashion designer, creative activist, humanitarian and columnist Malcolm is also the founder of the Mal Sirrah and One-Dress brands, which caters to socially conscious consumers as well as A-list celebrity clients such as Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Reese Witherspoon, and Jennifer Lopez. The success of these brands have aided Mr. Harris in spreading awareness and funding several of his humanitarian and charitable endeavors, including Designers for Darfur, Fashion for Food and various human rights issues and causes. By night, however, Malcolm can be found carousing around the glamorous playground of New York City nightlife, drawing the attention and affection of the hottest celebrities, elite club owners and innocent bystanders alike.

Though he thrives on being a jack-of-all-trades, Malcolm's primary purpose is to live his life as a vehicle for social change. Malcolm's creative passions for fashion, art, music, along with the extensive and diverse global social network he has spent years building and cultivating are all means to support one simple aspiration: "to make the world a better and more beautiful place for all of her inhabitants." Keeping these priorities balanced is an every day struggle, creating ongoing conflict and drama in Malcolm's life.

The web series: five to seven minutes of spectacle and sensation, starring Mr. Malcolm Harris, "Mister Golightly", as he pursues his day-to-day passions and embarks on documenting his nightly exploits about town. Each episode of the proposed web series will focus on a different area of Malcolm's life, but all will have the same underlying theme: "How can Malcolm utilize his access, creativity and glamorous social connections as tools for the greater good?"
