13 Minutes of Gender Based Sexual Harassment on CSGO

When posting a discussion board about this topic on steam the backlash was surprisingly negative. Other gamers suggested changing my name, gender, or leaving the internet as a whole because I couldn't take a little "trash talk". It's disheartening to know that some female gamers are choosing to put up with this type of behavior as just "trash talk" and nothing more. Ultimately it's not all rape threats, it can be worse when you have whole teams of men purposely trying to make you feel as if your only some sex object. I've heard so many extreme stories but I feel like it's a little easier to brush off some punk kid saying he's going to rape your mother than it is to deter a whole group of men from openly objectifying you.
