DNR Ichthyologist John Lyons gives a hands-on lesson about the Smallmouth Bass, a strong fighter and one of several bass species native to Wisconsin. Anglers spend countless hours every year trying to hook these fiesty fish. When they are hooked, Smallmouth Bass will jump out of the water and swim around logs to free themselves from a fishman's line.
