Sissel performing "Kjærlighet (Only Love)" on a TV-concert in Drammens Theater, Norway in 2001. "Only Love" is the theme song to the British TV series Mistral's Daughter — based upon the novel by Judith Krantz — which reached number 2 in the UK charts. The song was a hit with Nana Mouskouri in 1985. It also was a hit in its other versions: L'Amour en Héritage (French), Come un'eredità (Italian), La dicha del amor (Spanish), and Aber die Liebe bleibt (German). The German version was also recorded with an alternate set of lyrics under the title Der wilde Wein but was withdrawn in favour of Aber die Liebe bleibt.

Sissel, the international singing sensation from Norway, is widely regarded as one of the finest and most talented sopranos in the world. Her crystalclear voice has made Sissel a national institution in Norway. Sissel has sung all over the world, selling over six million solo albums. She contributed the haunting vocal tracks for the soundtrack to Titanic. She has been doing great duets with singers like Placido Domingo, Charles Aznavour, Taro Ichihara, Bryn Terfel, Jose Carreras, Russell Watson, Kurt Nilsen, Neil Sedaka and Josh Groban. A very remarkable voice you will only hear once in your lifetime.

This is the Norwegian version of "Only Love", which was a big hit by Nana Mouskouri back in 1986. This song is composed by Vladimir Cosma (born 13 April 1940), a French composer, conductor and violinist, born in Bucharest, Romania. And this song was also featured in the television series "Mistral's Daughter" from 1985.
