The Moving Wall is a half-size replica of the Washington D.C. Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It was conceived of and built by Vietnam Veterans as a remembrance and healing tool for all those people who cannot visit the Memorial in Washington D.C. As of January 1, 2013, there are 58,286 names listed on the Memorial, which is dedicated to the 2.7 million men and women who served in the U.S. Military in Vietnam. This is the 30th anniversary for the yearly tours of The Moving Wall throughout the United States and we are proud that Kenner has been chosen for one of its stops this year.

The Moving Wall will make its home at Kenner's Veterans Park at 1801 Williams Boulevard on May 15th through May 19th, 2014.
