This video touches on a variety of topics regarding the Novus Ordo Missae and the "Tridentine" mass. This video explains why the term Tridentine mass is really a misnomer because there was only one mass that developed into different rites in the Catholic Church, and that there really was no saints "before" the Tridentine mass because its always been there in one stage of development or another. This video speaks about the importance of the liturgy as a teaching tool in the church and gives a brief description of Quas Primas by Pope Pius XI. It discusses some of the themes of the changes in the new mass, and the striking similarities between the new rite of mass and the protestant liturgies.

Examples for consideration:

Example 1: Episcopal "mass".
In its externals it is virtually indistinguishable from a typical Catholic mass parish.

Notice the words of the priest "see that you are, the body of christ"... completely undermining the reality of the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist. In catholic theology, there is a phrase that is similar to the modern phrase, "actions speak louder than words" but it is speaking about what we believe. It is "lex orandi, lex credendi" - the law of prayer is the law of belief. In other words, how we pray dictates what we believe. Sadly the externals of our mass are very similar to those of the groups that do not believe in the true presence.
To be fair, here is a more conservative episcopal mass:

Example 2: Methodist "mass"... this is similar to a typical catholic parish. Almost definitely invalid. But notice the similarities.

Counter Example 1:
But my point is, notice how similar these protestant liturgies are to the Roman liturgy. Now, this may seem like a no brainier. One may say," Of coarse they are similar liturgies, they broke off of the Catholic Church, their worship will look similar to Catholic worship." But the fact of the matter is, wait until you see what the Roman Liturgy was like before it was morphed and mutilated into looking like the protestant liturgies in the 60's. Here are a couple samples. This is a short clip the got on to PBS.

Counter Example 2:
This is a full Traditional Latin Mass. Just skip through this to get a feel for what its like. The level of solemnity and majesty expressed in this mass is completely unworldly when compared to the protestants and the Modern Catholic Mass.
