Chris and Steve are no strangers to a steep, complicated and technical climb on an E-Bike. Having already tested themselves and their EMTB's on the unforgiving gradients of The Slab, we sent them to Wales for their next extreme e-bike climbing challenge. Welcome to the Rock!
The Rock is exposed, horribly technical and has sheer drops and loose shale on top of jagged rock faces. It makes the Slab look smooth and tame in comparison. The Slab had a steady average gradient of 75% (37 degrees), whilst our latest challenge has pitches of 41 degrees, dark caves, sheer drops and loose shale.
Just what exactly is an E-Bike capable of? We want to push the boundaries….
