Here's something that I have been messing around with for a while now.
It's a piece of music that was seeking a theme. I wrote the piece (all on guitar) on the structure of Am, Em and G -- and I ain't no musician so it's still a bit rough.
The whole sound is made by guitar effects except for the cymbal which was borrowed from a samples CD.
Some of the guitar effects used were Violin, Reverse Guitar, Distortion and Cycle.
Anyway, whilst looking for this 'theme' I came across JFK's famous "We choose to go to the moon" speech on the History channel. I was always inspired by this speech and its passion -- and it inspired me again!
I thought, "yeh, the moon landing" so off I went on a creative bent and decided to incorporate snippets of the JFK speech and Neil Armstrong's first words as he stepped down to become the first man to walk on the moon.
I mixed in the talk with the music and then decided to make a short video to go with the musical piece -- wish I'd done the video first because it was really hard matching up all the imagery!
