Zoom is an innovative charity project in aid of the renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity. For the second year in a row, the drivers and team principals of every Formula 1 team have been asked to take a photograph of their chosen subject.
I could not resist to use my camera a little when I was invited to the charity auction of the photographs in early February 2014 at the London Intercontinental Hotel. I hope you enjoy the short piece with statements of Damon Hill, Claire Williams, James Martin and Suzi Perry alongside Hidehiko Tanaka from Nikon, Caroline Reid and Christian Sylt from Zoom and Mark Sutton from Sutton Images.
Of course seeing Bernie Ecclestone auction his own picture and helping Christian Horner to maximise the price for his by asking Claire Williams to raise her hand was a unique experience.
