Race #10,749. Speed: 177 wpm. Number of characters in the text: 193. Time taken: 13 seconds. Rounded off wpm (calculated by taking into account, the characters in text and seconds taken, to reduce the lag factor) = 178.15 wpm. Displayed wpm: 177 wpm.
Good start, no mess up and fine finish, but the second line had a few long and complicated words, so I had to be extra cautious and slow on those, just in case. A single typo would have cost about 10-15 wpm. Also, I believe, when compared to certain other easy texts available on typeracer, this one is a bit more harder to get high scores on, so I'd say this is one of my better performances, even though I've scored above 177 many a hundred times in my typeracer career.
Funny thing about the video: I tend to type the letter "I" (capital "i") and the words beginning with that letter like "I'm" and "I'll" by pressing Caps Lock key on and off (as opposed to the normal technique of pressing shift) even though there's only a single capital letter involved. So you can see the caps lock notification on my laptop blinking on and off, on the bottom right hand corner of the video just above the time display in the taskbar, each time that letter comes up (which is three times in this particular case - twice in the first line and once in the last).
