Our robotic arm at the MA State Science Olympiad on Saturday March 17, 2012. Since regionals, we have added a mechanical gripper in addition to our original electromagnet, an inverse kinematic control algorithm, and a 3S2P A123 battery to replace the original 7.2V NiCd cell. A custom-machined bracket allows us to switch between the gripper and electromagnet.
