The current Auckland Mayor acts like he is in the building trying to pinch the pennies - but really... he's not. If he was then Auckland City wouldn't have a $13 billion debt, and the wage budget wouldn't have blown out again.

There are more than 2400 staffers in council that are paid more than $100,000 per year... yes you read that correctly... not 24, not 240, more than 2,400.
