This presentation by the Ballarat Tramway Museum looks at the history of the intersection of Sturt St and Drummond St Ballarat in Victoria, Australia, known as Hospital Corner through a series of photographs and video excerpts. The intersection was Ballarat's major junction with four different routes passing through it. Tramcars used this intersection from the inception of Horse Trams in 1887, through to Electric Trams in 1905 until the closure of the tramway system operated by the State Electricity Commission of Victoria in Sept. 1971.
