Wow, something in me just suddenly changed when listening to that. I feel very different in a way I can't explain. My eyes are wide open suddenly. It feels as if this very moment is standing still and is infinite itself. Time passing is now seen as an illusion too! The idea of a given space is also seen as a mental concept only. What is happening? It almost feels as if consciousness was previously held in a false suspension within a conceptual frame work of time, space and mind and has now become liberated. I'm glad I watched that. Thanks Allen Watts

Yes so true, and even eternity is outside of time. No beginning, no end. Think about it, eternity could be one second of time. Or one second could be an eternity.. They are one in the same. Beyond time.

robert cuthill Maybe our thoughts about time come from our inability to perceive things outside of the rules of our lives. Everything begins and ends, maybe that's why we cannot fathom an eternity.

To understand "nothingness" in Buddhist terms, one has to see it as "no-thingness" and not a black void. It is, in fact, a fertile field. To join it, to melt into it, is not only the greatest Bliss, but the highest attainment. If you still think you need your consciousness to survive death, you're still not ready to really feel the point of view I'm talking about.

Ugh this man's words make me cry tears of joy!

Our spirit is also like nothing. It is the so-called empty space between everything. The majority of everything is nothing, and it connects everything, everywhere. page 70 of the Present. Google : Truth Contest if you're into Life.

So many words. So little content.

The map is not the territory The more you "know" The less you "see" 0=infinity

When we are laying our deathbeds we may remember these precious words of Alan Watts.  Even if we don't recall them we will be experiencing such truths just the same.
