After some editing problems in the first video, I re-edited and re-posted. Thanks for all who replied to the first one. You guys can check this one out too and post if you want. I just got rid of the double clip that worked its way in somehow.

Springfield 1903 rifle. Serial number dates it to March of 1937. It looks old, but I like the stock. The gouges and marks give it character. Its got a nice patina on the exposed metal. I clean it for probably 2 hours removing all the cosmolene out of all the nooks and crannies. It looks like it ought to be a good shooter. Lands and grooves look sharp. You can be the judge of that in the vid. It is chambered in the .30-06 round, so its a great all purpose caliber. Particularly for hunting. I might have to take it out with some soft point ammo.

I am new to Springfield 1903 rifles. I had the chance to buy an A3 for the same price, but opted for this old war horse. It has a rebarrel stamp on it, but for the price I couldn't pass it up. So if anyone has any information on any of the stock marks, please let me know. Or if anyone has any good recommendations for websites, that is great too.
