This story time reading was created as a project for LIBR 260A at San Jose State's School of Library and Information Science. The story read in this video is used for educational purposes.

Originally I planned to present a video of a reading of this story at the public library where I work. The actual reading and activity went very well, but unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, the video was not captured properly. So, this presentation is a reading done at home. During my library presentation, I had the stuffed penguin prop featured in this version, and I did a hand stamp activity afterward, where I stamped the kids hands with a penguin rubber stamp. The audience consisted of about 15 preschool aged children (and 3 adult teachers), and I performed the final of four stories for our library's regular preschool story time. The children's librarian at the branch was very gracious to let me perform, and it was a lot of fun! The experience taught me a lot about reading aloud to a larger group of children. I'm sad the recording didn't turn out, but this video gives a pretty good idea of how I did the reading.
