Valerian & Laureline - Time Matters

The year is 2416 AD.
Time-Space Academy cadet Valerian travels to medieval earth, in the year 912AD, in his final
examination to become a Time Agent. There he meets a dancer, Laureline, traveling with a
group of minstrels.
Valerian is thrown into the dungeon with Laureline, after laughing at her blowing off the local
governor's marriage proposal.
Seeing Valerian escape the dungeon with his laser gun, Laureline mistakes him for a "magician"
and decides to follow him.
After the two safely escape the soldier's relentless chase, they return to Valerian's time, with the
spaceship Legenda.
Valerian realizes that he has broken the most fundamental rule "A Time Agent must not
interfere with what is happening in the past" he worries about it's ramifications, only to find out
that the Earth had disappeared from the solar system! Lost, with no idea what to do, Valerian
decides to go on a trip, to find Earth.
