PIMCO celebrates launch of the PIMCO Total Return ETF and rings the NYSE Opening Bell

The PIMCO Total Return Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) (NYSE Arca-Listed TRXT) visits the NYSE to open the trading day simultaneously from PIMCO's headquarters in Newport Beach, CA, office and the New York Stock Exchange. The PIMCO Total Return ETF is designed to provide investors with another way to access PIMCO's Total Return strategy and begins trading on NYSE Arca on Thursday, March 1, 2012 under the ticker symbol (TRXT). In honor of the occasion, Bill Gross, co-CIO of PIMCO rings The Opening BellSM.

Leveraging NYSE Euronext state-of-the-art Broadcast facility, the simultaneous ringing of the NYSE Opening Bell will air as a single broadcast to audiences worldwide live from Newport Beach, CA and New York at 9:30 a.m. (ET) and 6:30 a.m. (PT).
