Hundreds of students, unemployed and trade unionists marched and rallied in San Francisco on October 12, 2011. The rally started at the Hyatt Regency which is being boycotted by Unite Here Local 2. Workers spoke out about discrimination and union busting. The march then continued through the San Francisco financial district to the Wells Fargo bank where doors were blockaded. Protesters demanded an end to foreclosures and the seizure of their homes by the banks. Also ILWU Local 21 unionists spoke about their struggle in Longview, Washington against union busting.
