iPhone 5 Wifi Problem/Issue

Black iPhone 5 with wifi reception problem. Started right next to the router and it already failed to pick up 2 other networks in range. Then I walked into a room (about 10 ft away from router) and the black iPhone cannot even stay connected anymore.

If your iphone is doing the same thing, then you should really take your phone back and get it exchanged. This is a hardware issue, so don't wait for an iOS update or you will be exchanging for refurbished units (most probably from this batch of iphone 5 having wifi problem). I got mine exchanged already and it is working perfectly...

My advise is to take your phone to an Apple Store or a store of your telephone operator where you are pretty sure there will be other wifi network around (shopping mall, places with personal hotspot, etc) AND to bring your existing phone with you.

The reason for this is because if your iphone 5 is like mine, it will only be able to pick up 1 or 2 networks that is closest in range. Then you can use your existing phone, turn the wifi on and compare. I did this and Apple replaced my phone without even asking a question. My iphone 5 only managed to get 2 of the Apple Store wifi network (although with full strength), while my iphone 4 managed to get over 10 networks). So I didn't need to show them this video.... ;)
