These amps sound great, provided you know how to set them up. Use the clean channel only (with the master volume way up and the preamp volume way down) and then use an overdrive pedal to get a genuine cranked sound. I originally made this video as a demo to sell, but i now realise i prefer it to my other amps.

The dirty channel on these Marshalls apparently uses clipping diodes and just doesn't sound the same.

In this example I used an EH Tube Zipper as the overdrive pedal. sounds amazing, so underrated, and the guitar is a beat up old Epiphone SG copy fitted with a set of Seymour Duncan Jazz/JB's.
