Sparky's Wish List™: Partnering for Fire-Safe Communities, is going to be great tool for the Indianapolis fire service and the community, according to Indianapolis Fire Marshal Fred Pervine. Chief Pervine, who was attending the FDIC Conference in Indianapolis in April 2012, says many times, people and businesses in his community would like to help support the local fire service, but they don't know how. He says Sparky's Wish List will help the fire service define their needs in these tough economic times and help the community fulfill their 'wishes' for quality public education materials.
The National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) new "Sparky's Wish List™: Partnering for Fire-Safe Communities" invites fire departments to create a free online wish list for Fire Prevention Week materials. Businesses and the public can fulfill departments' wish lists and provide these critical educational materials for their communities.
