Stephen Jenkins is professor of economic and social policy at LSE.

John Hills is professor of social policy and director of the Centre for the Analysis of Social Exclusion (CASE) at LSE.

Simon Burgess is professor of economics and director of the Centre for Market and Public Organisation (CMPO), University of Bristol.
