The band Necroblast was formed from the ashes of our earlier band Kolsyrad Död. We had not played together for a long time, and when we did, the fall of 2011, we swapped instruments! Strength had played the guitar in Kolsyrad Död, but had during the years gained skill in drumming. Mind had lost all his old drum skills, but began to play guitar and growl. Our first song as Necroblast was Black Sword, wich lies here on bandcamp as a demo version. The second song was Necroblast, wich we start the album Hail Death with, as it is the most brutal one, and also the bands theme song.

However, most of the songs on Hail Death were recorded during the spring of 2012, the last weeks of the making of the album. Our intention was just to finish our old recordings and make a demo, but when we started our hearts filled with necro frenzy and dark thoughts of the hateful forest, and we created a lot of new songs, like A Call in the Forest, Reading the Pnakotika, Summoning the Four Suns, Neverending Forest and Aska. I became over 70 minutes, and understodd that we had failed to make a debutant demo, but instead had made a full-length album. But it´s okay, we promise to do a low-fi demotape in the future.

The Hail Death album is Necroblast experimenting with how we can make music, and this is just the beginning. Next time it will be raw and brutal, with more songs with death metal and punk energy, to amplify our black metal into real necro metal. It will be evil, and Mind promises to draw a lot of monsters with big weapons and big cocks for the artwork. The next release will probably be named Plague Beast and come as a tape.

Deathcrush is coming....
I`ve been longing

So, may your Death be Total, may you ears bleed (´cause if you play this album on low volume, we will, like Manowar, drive you over with our Hellbikes until you are splatted roadkills on the Torsåsian concrete). And, may you loose yourself in the anti-cosmic void of Aska.
