This is part 1 of a 5-part video I have made of an operating session on my 4mm scale North Cornwall layout 'Egloshayle.' The video was made single-handedly, with one hand manipulating the video camera on its tripod and the other hand working the 'walkaround' controller! Not easy I can tell you!

I have tried as far as possible to keep extraneous bits of the layout or the railway room out of shot, but please forgive me if I haven't always succeeded. And please don't be offended at my attempted sound effects!

The layout is operated to a prototypical sequence and shows the kind of activity that would have gone on at a station like this in the late 1950's. The layout is equipped with a permanent-magnet uncoupling system, so watch out for this operating at various points during the sequences.
