Arizona received about a year's worth of rain this week, and a portion of that is flowing down the Salt River. To accommodate the increased flow, they have deflated the rubber dams on Tempe Town Lake and allowed the water to run through the normally-dry riverbed. While watching the water, I realized there was a bike race going on, too, the 12 Hours of Pain & Purpose Mountain Bike Challenge. More about it on my blog at http://onespeedgo.blogspot.com
